TikTok: New Campaign Identity

In ideation with NYC marketing agency SocialChain, I crafted a new visual identity for TikTok’s social campaigns for 2021. TikTok is a culmination of meme and pop culture and a highlight reel for online emotions. Visually I wanted to relay this utilizing pop art aesthetics, classic rave flyer design, and TikTok’s current brand. TikTok feels like a party when you’re on the app, and that’s what I wanted this visual identity to feel like too.

Doggface Celebration Post

Doggface’s unbothered TikTok video of him skating while drinking Oceanspray is ICONIC. The most striking and fun still from the video made it onto a SF mural to celebrate the moment, and this Instagram post highlights just that.

Live Event Promo

For this live event promo, I stuck with the sticker-like icons but morphed them to closer reflect Kylon’s message of honoring native land. I also kept the new visual identity’s simple and bold look.
